This paper presents a new theory on the formation of fossil fuel in which a major global event (head-on comet collision with earth) totally vaporizes the ocean water and releases vast amount of dusts into the air; the vaporization also kills most of the micro-organisms, which stops body decay. The dusts, mixed with the steam, falls back on earth as mud-rain to deeply bury the whole oceanic eco-system which the ensuing geological age chemically transforms into the modern-day fossil fuel.
